On November 28, 2024, Mincatec Energy took part in the Créer Demain trade show, the key event for innovation in Burgundy-Franche-Comté. This event will go down in our company’s history thanks to a major distinction: the Prix Innov’BFC, awarded by the Agence Économique Régionale de Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (AERBFC). The day ended with an exhibition of our flagship product, our solid-state hydrogen storage tank, during FrenchTechNight BFC.
															Recognition for a revolutionary innovation
The award, presented by Nicolas Soret, Vice-President in charge of finance, economic development, SSE and employment at the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Regional Council, highlights our flagship innovation: our metal hydride solid-state hydrogen storage tank.
This solution stands out for its many advantages:
- Safe : a technology that guarantees optimum safety for hydrogen storage.
 - Efficient : advanced energy performance to meet industrial and mobility needs.
 - Modular : flexibility that adapts to different uses and scales.
 - Sustainable : a concrete response to the environmental challenges of the energy transition.

This award reaffirms our position as a key player in hydrogen innovation, and reinforces our mission to offer tangible, sustainable solutions to current and future environmental challenges.
A stand at the heart of energy transition issues
At the event, our stand attracted an enthusiastic audience interested in technological innovations and solutions for the energy transition. These moments of exchange enabled us to present our advances, strengthen our network and inspire new collaborations.
Congratulations to the other winners
We also salute the other two winners of this year’s competition, Fungu’it and REGOM, for their innovative projects and their commitment to the sustainable transformation of our society.
															Acknowledgements
We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Burgundy-Franche-Comté region for their support and confidence since the beginning of our adventure.
